Welcome Tory

I just realized my Tory Burch flats have not made their debut yet on this blog. So welcome little shoes that hurt my feet like crazy the first three weeks. Why do designers charge you 200 dollars to be in so much pain?? I do not understand. My hand was shaking just slightly as I handed over my debit card, but all in all they have been my most worn shoes! Gold and black are literally colors I wear every day so it has fit very nicely into my wardrobe.
I look extra business-ey today but this is what I wore to work! Go Figure! I'm headed home in the morning to go to a family wedding and I can't wait! More outfit pictures - wedding edition to come! :)

I stole Lady Gaga's shoes

Everytime I wear these shoes I get an array of reactions from people. "Can I try those on?" "Can you really walk in those?" "How much did you pay for those?!" Or my favorite was from my boyfriends dad who send a picture of them to everyone he knew from work to see what their reaction was to them.  There actually quite comfortable, and I quite like them. I do have a hard time walking up and down slopes in them. Me and my girlfriend (aka my personal popparazzi) risked breaking our ankles for some darn good burritos. Worth it.

The thing about Stretchy Pants...

Well hello blogging world!
It has been quite some time since we have spoken. The thing about working in the Active department at Nordstrom is that you wear stretchy pants and T-shirts for 6 months. And no one really cares how cool your neon tennis shoes are. SO recently I was promoted to the Asst. Manager of dresses and I'm back to wearing normal clothes again. But I am still wearing stretchy pants! Recently, (if you haven't already seen on my facebook) I ripped my pants up the booty from top to bottom in front of a customer. So I have officially Vetoed all un-stretch like materials out of my life.
This is the little outfit I wore to work today! Hope you like it! I love the way the colors in this tunic pop!

You will be seeing more of me around these parts from now on! Also going to add a few videos from now on talking about favorite make-up/hair/skincare products as well!  :)

Closet Remix

A few weeks ago my sister asked me to remix her closet to put together fresh outfits with the stuff she already has. Turns out when you just got married, your husband doesn't want you shopping much after the fact. I focused a lot on adding fun accessories to the tops she had to make them stand out in a whole new way. Accessories make the outfit truly!! Remember that, for all of you taking notes. :)
Enjoy the pictures!!

Repurposing

Lately I have been seeing a ton of great glittery shoes! I wanted a pair so bad but decided that I should just make my own make shift pair for less money! I got a silver matte spray paint, and a sparkly top coat and added two layers of both. I took a plain pair of black loafers from Target, and changed them into these fun new sparkly shoes! I loved the results!

Also, sorry for my lack of blogging lately! I have been literally on my death bed with a nasty cold. So unless you want to see my an old volleyball sweatshirts, and college sweatpants, I think this is a better option :)
